In the area of Sohrab Goth, Karachi, a joint operation carried out by CPLC, Anti Violent Crime Cell and Clifton Police managed to recover a hostage who had been kidnapped for ransom money; where as two kidnappers also got killed during an operation.According to police, the kidnappers used to kidnap citizens from Clifton and Tariq Road and asked for ransom money. Today a chase of the kidnappers was made on the Super Highway and in return they started firing. When retaliated, two of the kidnappers got killed and one of their companion also got injured and managed to escape. Police told that the hostage was also shot on hand and feet but he is out of danger.
